Privacy Policy
Short version: QualitySets stores everything on your iPhone. There are no accounts, no servers we run, no analytics, no ads, and no third-party tracking. If you choose to enable iCloud or HealthKit, your data syncs through Apple's encrypted infrastructure to your own devices — we never see it.
What we collect
Nothing leaves your device unless you opt in. Workouts, sets, body photos, body measurements, nutrition entries, and personal records are stored locally in the app's private SwiftData database.
Optional Apple integrations
- iCloud (CloudKit). If iCloud is enabled on your iPhone, your QualitySets data syncs to your private iCloud account so it appears on your other Apple devices. This data is stored in your iCloud, owned by you, and visible only to you. We have no access to it.
-
Apple Health (HealthKit). If you grant HealthKit permission, completed
workouts and body metrics can be written to the Health app, and body weight / body fat can be
read from Health to populate your charts. You can revoke this at any time in
Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → QualitySets. - Notifications. If you allow notifications, we use them for the rest-timer complete cue and optional reminder nudges. Notifications are generated entirely on-device.
- Camera & Photo Library. Used only when you take or pick a progress photo. Photos are saved to the app's private storage on your device.
What we don't do
- No accounts, sign-ins, or user IDs.
- No analytics, telemetry, crash reporters, or A/B tooling.
- No advertising SDKs, no third-party trackers, no fingerprinting.
- No data sold, shared, or transferred to anyone.
- No servers operated by QualitySets that store your data.
Children
QualitySets is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Deleting your data
Uninstalling QualitySets removes the local database from your device. If you enabled iCloud sync,
you can delete the data from your iCloud account at
Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud → Manage Account Storage → QualitySets.
HealthKit entries written by QualitySets can be deleted from the Health app.
